Title: Once
Medium: Brass, Copper and Aluminium Size: 19” tall One of my favourite humanities writers is Margaret Atwood. This work is a result of reading one of her short stories. She deals with the dynamics of a human relationship. The shared bending, dominating, submitting, fluttering of wills, that takes place between two people is truly an aesthetic exercise. The various metals incorporated in the sculpture are chosen for their malleable character, which symbolizes the dynamics taking place. 2013 |
