Literally a breakout piece for me.  The piece alludes to not losing oneself.   Juggling life as a mother, wife and artist is a creative process in itself.  Shaping lives instead of materials is what gives one solace as an artist.  The moment basic nurturing was no longer needed, my focus went back to shaping materials.  It was somewhat explosive at its onset.
Study 1 was dismantled and used in “Study 2”. 2014
